Dragon Canyon Scenic Spot is located in the upstream of creek which is the provincial scenic area and it is located in the Louxiazha Village of Jianshan Town of Pan’an County of Zhejiang Province. Its mountain belongs to the northeast branch of Dapan Mountain and the river is the creek of Cao E river drainages.

The location of the scenic area is the birth place of Ye Zhen who is the head of the Jiangnan Seven Talents during the Years of Qing Qianlong Emperor and the first director of space agency Zhang Hao during the period of the republic of China. And there were also historical sites such as Big Rejuvenating Country Site, Chongben Hall and Immortal Temple, the heritage of culture is deep and it blends in with the natural landscape.The scenic area has human resources such as Louxia Old House and Chenglishan Big Rejuvenating Sites.The features like peculiar,beautiful, risk, quiet and wild are obvious, the superiority of resource , uniqueness of landscape and original face of zoology are good. The Dragon Canyon Scenic Spot is  identified by experts as the largest and most mature terrace ravines with the most abundant landscape in the area of Zhejiang .

The scenic spot will form the overall layout structure of "eight districts and one heart" and 158 scenic spots.The heart of them refers to the tourist reception center of Guanyin Lake.  The "Eight area" are Dongtian Waterfall Platform View Waterfall Area,Xianya Keng Mountain Health and Recreation Area, Tiediantan Pool Water Sports Recreation Area, Five Holy Temple Pilgrimage Cultural Experience Area, Urban Mountain Cultural Experience Area, Thousands of Rock Wonders Range Rover Area, Xianren Bridge Canyon Exploration Area and Louxia House leisure Area. At the same time, the combination of the five scenic spots such as the falling water, the Dongtian Flying Dragon, the Liantian Panlong, the Qianzhang Jumping Dragon and the Xianya Lying Dragon is full of the dragon culture.The combination of Fusi Temple, Lu Temple, Shou Temple, Xuanwu Mountain, Shouxing Cliff and other scenic spots permeate Taoism, Buddhism and Confucianism. The combination of scenic spots such as Gossip Waterscape, Feng Shui Gate, Taichi Pool, Yijing Corridor and other scenic spots are full of the Yi Jing and Feng Shui Culture.

Dragon Canyon Scenic Spot has a beautiful environment, brings the pools, waterfalls, lakes, stone, mountain, forest and historical sites together and is rich in tourism resources, the features of landscape is obvious.It is of great value in touring. The natural landscape tourism is the most basic tourism projects the scenic spot.
