Baishanzu National Nature Reserve is located in the first county of Chinese ecological environment-- Qingyuan County, Zhejiang Province. It belongs to Gongdong mountain chain. The main peak--Baishanzu is 1856.7 meters above sea level, and it is known as "the ancestor of the Baishan", which is the second peak in Zhejiang province.
In the protection zone, rounding ranges of hills with beautiful scenery, it’s majestic and grand. It is the birthplace of the Ou River, Min River, Fu'an River, known as the "source of three rivers".
The protection belonged to the subtropical monsoon climate. Unique geographical environment makes it Lin dense, full of vitality, animal and plant resources, ecological vegetation.
The "Baishanzu fir" is the fourth century glacial relict plant, known as the "living fossil", which is listed as one of the world's twelve most endangered plant species protection committee international. There only 3 strains in south Baishanzu slope at an altitude of 1760 meters in the world.
There are deep “Baipu gorge”, "icefall", exquisitely carved, drop from the clouds; the "ice fog"; "column" that has been pulled out of the ground; flattened as a mirror, the legend is the "stone chess table" of the fairy; water gurgling, deep "ghost cave"; spectacular “stone screen” and so on. The scenery made by nature puts Baishanzu nature reserve into a magnificent picture, which is breathtaking.
