　　为贯彻落实党的十九大精神，10月29日，来自全国21个省、市的百余名民办中小学的投资人、校长，民办教育机构的负责人以及来自美国、泰国等国外民办教育机构的大咖齐聚杭城，学习党的十九大精神，深入探讨如何以贯彻落实以《民办教育促进法》为契机，进一步坚守民办中小学领域，办好高质量的民办中小学以满足社会需求。

　　数据显示，我国的民办学校2002年为61300所，到2016年为171000所，增加了110400所，在校生从2002年的1148万人增加至2016年的4825万人，增加了3677万人。而同期的公办学校则减少了285600所，在校生减少了3200万人。

　　对此，浙江大学教育学院民办教育研究中心主任、博士生导师吴华教授认为，民办教育为中国的教育提供了更加有效、更多选择、更加公平的办学途径。
