南湖革命纪念馆是浙江嘉兴南湖中共一大会址的宣传、保护、管理机构，是近现代纪念性专题纪念馆，隶属嘉兴市南湖风景名胜区管理委员会。

Nanhu Revolutionary Memorial Hall is the promotion, protection and management mechanism of the place where the first Congress of People's Republic of China was held in Nanhu, Jiaxin, Zhejiang. The Nanhu Revolutionary Memorial Museum is a commemorative memorial museum of modern times, which is attached to the Jiaxing, Nanhu scenic spot Management Committee.

　　南湖革命纪念馆成立于1959年10月，1960年，在中共中央和浙江省委的直接关怀下，南湖革命纪念馆成立。建馆之初，馆址设在湖心岛。1992年中国改革开放转型后，南湖成为旅游风景区。2006年建立新馆。

Nanhu Revolutionary Memorial Hall was founded in October 1959, and in 1960, under the direct care of the CPC Central Committee and the Zhejiang provincial Party committee, Nanhu Revolutionary Memorial Hall was founded. In the initial stage of construction, the hall was located in the eyot. After the transformation of China's reform and opening in 1992, Nanhu became a tourist scenic spot. A new hall was established in 2006.

　　扩建后的南湖革命纪念馆占地面积2.73公顷，总建筑面积19633平方米，是原馆舍面积的10倍，其中展厅面积7794平方米。新馆由一主两副三幢建筑组成，平面呈“工”字造型。建筑四周有五十六根檐柱，形象烘托出“中国共产党是中国工人阶级先锋队，是中国人民和中华民族的先锋队，同时也是中国特色社会主义事业领导核心”的深刻寓意。

After the expansion, Nanhu Revolutionary Memorial Hall covers an area of 2.73 hectares, with the total construction area of 19633 square meters, which is 10 times the original building area, the exhibition area is 7794 square meters. The new building is composed of one master, two vice-buildings and three other buildings, and the plane is modeled as "Gong" in Chinese. There are fifty-six eave columns around the building, which visually contrast the profound implication that “the Communist Party of China is the vanguard of the Chinese working class, the vanguard of the Chinese people and the Chinese nation, and also the core of the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics”.

　　外墙采用大规格青面砖，使整座建筑既体现了庄重大气的风格，又展现了浓郁的江南文化元素。主体建筑俯瞰呈镰刀铁锤党徽形状，总高为19米，两层，顶部矗立高6米井字形外方内圆的丰功牌坊，门楣镶嵌邓小平题写“南湖革命纪念馆”7个金色大字，馆内分党史陈列、文物库房、接待室、管理设施4个部分。

The exterior wall is made of large size green tiles, which makes the whole building not only embody the style of solemn atmosphere, but also display the rich elements of Jiangnan culture. The survey of the main building is like a sickle and hammer of the emblem of our political party. The main building is 19 meters high, with two floors. The memorial Gateway of valiant record which shaped roundness inside but squareness outside , like a “Jing” in Chinese, stands upright of the top with 6 meters tall. The lintel inlayed seven golden characters “Nan Hu Ge Ming Ji Nian Guan”, which inscribed by Teng Hsiao-ping. The inside of the museum is divided into 4 parts: the exhibition of the party history, the cultural relics storehouse, the reception room and the management facilities.
