镜湖国家城市湿地公园总面积约１５平方公里，位于素以“水乡泽国”闻名的绍兴。镜湖湿地水网密集，地下水位高，自然地形为低湿地，分布有植物６５科、１３２属、１５１种，浮游生物丰富多样。 “芦锥几顷界为田，一曲溪流一曲烟。”镜湖湿地公园的景色以天然质朴为美，是城市不可缺少的“肺叶”，是城市绿地生态系统的重要组成部分，在提供水资源、调节气候、涵养水源、均化洪水、降解污染物、保护生物多样性等方面发挥着重要作用。

Jinghu National Urban Wetland Park，located in Shaoxing known as " the water resort"，covers an area of about 15 square kilometers. There are lots of rivers, the water level is high and the natural terrain is low wetland. There are 65 families of plants, 132 genera, 151 species, and the plankton are rich and diverse. With natural scenery, Jinghu Wetland Park is the indispensable "lung" of the city, in an important part of urban green space ecology system, and plays an important role in providing water, regulating climate, water conservation, homogenizing flood, pollutant degradation and protecting biodiversity, etc.

　　绍兴市是长江三角洲南冀的重要城市之一，境内河道密布，湖泊众多，向以“水乡泽国”享誉海内外，湿地资源丰富。而由于多年的耕作、建设等影响，湿地资源有减少的趋势。为有效保护湿地，维护绍兴的生态多样性，使生态的保护与经济的增长相协调，保证长远的可持续发展，根据《绍兴市总体规划》及《绍兴市镜湖新区总体规划》，在绍兴大城市的“绿心”建设镜湖湿地公园，优化绍兴市生态状况。2005年5月20日，被国家建设部（城建[2005]82号）批准设立为绍兴市镜湖国家城市湿地公园，这是浙江省首个国家级城市湿地公园。

Shaoxing city is one of the important cities in the south of Yangtze River. The river well known as “the water resort" to home and abroad, is full of rivers and lakes, also rich in wetland resources. However, due to years of cultivation and construction, wetland resources have been decreasing. In order to effectively protect wetlands, maintain Shaoxing ecological diversity, make in harmony of ecological protection and economic growth and ensure the long-term sustainable development, Jinghu Wetland Park is built in "Green heart" in shaoxing city to optimize shaoxing ecological situation, according to “Shaoxing city overall planning” and " Shaoxing Jinghu new area overall planning ". On May 20, 2005, the State Ministry of Construction (Urban Construction [2005] No. 82) approved the establishment of Shaoxing Jinghu National Urban Wetland Park, which is the first national urban wetland park in Zhejiang.

　　绍兴市镜湖国家城市湿地公园位于绍兴大城市越城、柯桥、袍江三大城市组团的中心，处于绍兴大城市“绿心”核心部分，是淡水湖泊型国家城市湿地公园。公园东起解放北路西侧河流及梅山公园，西至张家潭等河流，南临鸭沙滩、荸荠泾，北依犭央犭茶湖环湖路，总用地面积15.6平方公里。

Located in the center of three urban groups: YueCheng, Keqiao and Paojiang, Shaoxing Jinghu National Urban Wetland Park is at the core of “green heart” of Shaoxing with freshwater lake. East to Jiefang Road west side of river and Meishan Park, west to Zhangjiatan and other rivers, south to “Yashatan” and “Biqijing”, north to Ang Sang Lake Minnewanka Road The park north west river and meishan park, west to zhangjiagan, the total land area is 15.6 square kilometers.

　　绍兴市镜湖国家城市湿地公园自然资源丰富，公园独特的荷叶地形，能充分展示平原河网地区丰富的湿地景观，公园内水网密集，地下水位高，自然地形成低湿地，湿地景观占一定比例，分布有植物65科、132属、151种；浮游生物丰富多样。北侧的犭央犭茶湖是绍兴最大的天然淡水湖，以犭央犭茶鱼为名，独具地方特色，国内少闻,现存面积2.23平方公里,湖上有省级文保单位避塘,湖底有近1米的泥炭层，是绍兴此类矿产最丰富之地，泥炭层是极具潜力的碳库，湿地作为碳库可以降低大气中的CO2,缓解温室效应。

Shaoxing Jinghu National Urban Wetland Park is abundant in natural resources, fully show the rich wetland landscape in the plain river network with unique lotus leaf topography. There are lots of rivers in the Park, the underground water level is high, which naturally forms a low wetland, and the wetland landscape occupies a certain proportion. There are 65 families of plants, 132 genera, 151 species, and the plankton are rich and diverse. Ang Sangon Lake on the northern side of wetland is one of the largest natural freshwater lake in Shaoxing. It is famous for Ang Sang, and rarely heard at home with unique local flavor. The existing area of 2.23 square kilometers, the lake has a provincial cultural security units Pond, nearly 1 meter of peat at the bottom of the lake, is the most abundant mineral resources in Shaoxing. The peat layer is a potential carbon pool, wetland as a carbon pool can reduce CO2 in the atmosphere to alleviate the greenhouse effect.

　　镜湖国家城市湿地公园人文资源积淀深厚,堪称绍兴水乡、酒乡、桥乡、名士之乡的一个缩影。公园西侧的东浦古镇，是典型的江南水乡古镇，形态保存基本完好，“小桥、流水、人家”，216座形态各异的桥梁、36条水色澄清的河流、徐锡麟故居、犭央犭茶湖避塘、东浦老街等等，可谓古镇风貌，酒乡风情，名人故居。公园东侧的梅山,早在越国时期，越王勾践就在山上建有斋戒之台；至唐代，在山西侧建有永觉寺，历代有巫山Jinghu National Urban Wetland Park is rich in human resources, which is a microcosm of Shaoxing Township in water, wine, bridge and famous people. The west side of the Park is Dongpu town, a typical Jiangnan water town. Morphological preservation is basically good, "small bridge, flowing water, household", 216 different shapes of the bridge, 36 clear rivers, former residence of Xu Xilin, Ang Sang pond, Dongpu old street and so on, it can be described as ancient town style, wine country style and celebrity former residence. Meishan on the east side of the park, as early as the time of Yue, the king Gou Jian built a fasting platform in the mountains. In the Tang dynasty, Yongjue temple had been built on the west side of the mountain. In the past dynasties, there were many places of interest, such as Wushan caves, Meizi zhenquan, Shinan pavilion, Shangshu tomb, Chawu and so on. Through recovering green early, there are so many plants and animals on the mountain. Flocks of egrets are gathering in this area, and some of them are protected by the national secondary protection -- Chinese Egret.

Shaoxing Jinghu National Urban Wetland Park will aim for maintaining the wetland ecological balance system, protecting the function of wetlands and biological diversity, and realizing the harmonious development of human settlement environment and the natural environment. Under the framework of Shaoxing, we should adhere to the basic orientation, adhere to the work principle "take a long-term view, promote the protection, rational utilization and moderate construction", give priority to protection, and pay attention to less transformation, more reservation, less construction, more repair, less labor and more natural. Through the ecological restoration, historical and cultural connotation of mining, it plays the role of urban wetland fully in improving ecological environment, leisure and science popularization education, etc. By combining the ecological protection, eco-tourism and ecological environment education function organically, we try to achieve the rational development of natural resources and the improvement of the ecological environment, the sustainable development of the city, and the harmonious coexistence between man and nature.
