五泄瀑布区，国家AAAA级旅游风景区，位于诸暨市西北23公里处，当地人称瀑布为泄，一水折为五级，所以叫“五泄”。早在1400年前的北魏就闻名于世，郦道元的《水经注》里，就有着详细的记载。历代的文人墨客如宋杨万里、王十朋，元杨铁崖，明陈洪绶、徐渭、袁宏道、宋濂都曾来此游览，留下了画稿、诗文。

Wu Xie Waterfalls Area, the national AAAA class tourist scenic spot, located 23 kilometers northwest of Zhuji City, the local people called "waterfall" for "Xie"(means the water cascade down), the water divided into five parts, so called "five Xie."". As early as 1400 before the Northern Wei Dynasty is famous in the world, Li Daoyuan's "shuijingzhu", was full of detailed records. The men of literature and writing like Yang Wanli , Wang Shipeng in Song dynasty, Yang Tieya in Yuan dynasty, Chen Hongshou, Xu Wei, Yuan Hongdao and Song Lian in Ming dynasty, they all have gone to this tour, left art works and poems.
