中国网浪潮资讯 近日，在爱尔兰科克市举行的第三届“国际学习型城市大会”上，杭州摘得“联合国教科文组织学习型城市奖章”。

Recently, Hangzhou won the UNESCO Learning City Medal "in “the 3rd International Conference on Learning Cities” held in Kirk, Ireland.

　　“联合国教科文组织学习型城市奖章”是联合国教科文组织于2015年设立的一项国际双年奖，旨在对全球范围内那些在提升全民终身学习方面取得显著进步的城市进行奖励与表彰。此前，中国仅有北京是第一批（2015年）学习型城市奖章获得者。

“UNESCO Learning City Medal” is an International Biennial Awards which UNESCO established in 2015. It aims to reward and recognize all the cities in the world that have made significant progress in promoting lifelong learning for all. Before this, only Beijing is only the first batch of (2015) winner of Learning City Medal in China.

　　在第二批获得“联合国教科文组织学习型城市奖章”的16个城市中，杭州是中国唯一获奖的城市。

In the second batch of 16 cities which were awarded “UNESCO Learning City Medal”, Hangzhou is the only Chinese city to be awarded.

　　获得这一殊荣，不仅使杭州创建学习型城市进入一个新高度，也为推进杭州城市国际化做出了积极贡献。

Winning this award has not only enabled Hangzhou to build a learning city into a new height, but also made a positive contribution to promoting the internationalization of Hangzhou.
