中国网浪潮资讯 9月18日至20日，世界自然保护联盟亚洲区会员委员会会议在浙江开化召开。

A three-day annual meeting of the Asia Regional Members Committee (ARMC) of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) was held in Kaihua, Zhejiang province on Sept 18-20.

　　来自17个亚洲成员国的22个代表团，包括日本，新加坡和菲律宾等国家，以及20个来自政府机构和非政府组织参加了会议并考察了开化的环境。

A group of 22 representatives from 17 Asian member countries including Japan, Singapore and the Philippines, as well as 20 from government bodies and non-governmental organizations attended the meeting and also inspected Kaihua's environment.

　　世界自然保护联盟，成立于1948年，是世界上最大和最多样化的专注于自然环境保护的组织。与会者在会上回顾了去年的工作进展，并就如何应对当前的挑战展开了讨论。

The IUCN, established in 1948, is the world's largest and most diverse environmental network focusing on nature protection. The attendees reviewed last year's work progress and discussed solutions to today's challenges.

　　“我们希望主办县开化可以作为一个外界的窗口，看看中国是如何保护自然环境的。”世界自然保护联盟亚洲区会员委员会的主席马克平说道。马克平指出，开化有丰富的自然环境保护经验供游客学习和许多用于深入探查的保存完好的自然景观。

"We hope the host county Kaihua can be a window for the outside world to see what China is doing to protect nature," said Ma Keping, chairman of IUCN ARMC. Ma was referring to the fact that Kaihua has rich experience in nature protection for visitors to learn from and many well preserved natural landscapes for in-depth inspection.

　　开化县市委书记项瑞良介绍了当地的生态资源和该县为环境保护做出的努力。他说，开化将此次会议作为促进国际交流与合作的契机，并且希望这次会议的结果能为该县未来的发展提供指导。

Xiang Ruiliang, Party secretary of Kaihua county, introduced local ecological resources and the county's efforts in protecting the environment. He said Kaihua saw the meeting as an opportunity to promote its international exchanges and cooperation, and that the outcomes of the meeting are expected to guide the county's future development.

　　开化是钱塘河源区的发源地，浙江省的母亲河。在会议的最后一天，与会者前往河源地区的国家公园参加研讨会，在会议上，国际专家概述了他们对该公园发展的建议。

Kaihua is home to the headwater area of the Qiantang River, the mother river of Zhejiang province. On the last day of the meeting, attendees went to a national park in the headwater region to take part in a symposium where international experts outlined their suggestions for the park's development.
