中国网浪潮资讯 北京时间9月16日，美国伊利诺伊州州长布鲁斯•罗纳一行访问浙江大学。浙江大学党委书记邹晓东会见了罗纳一行，并就双方关心的教育问题交换意见。这是罗纳上任州长后首次访华。

On September 16 Beijing time, H.E. Bruce Vincent Rauner the delegation of the State of Illinois visited Zhejiang University. Zou Xiaodong, party secretary of Zhejiang University met Rauner and his delegation and exchanged views on education issues of common interest. It was Rauner’s first visit to China after he took office as governor.

　　浙江大学与伊利诺伊大学厄巴纳香槟校区联合办学，构建与国际名校同步的教学质量保障体系，对标世界一流标准的教师与管理队伍建设，促进双方互利共赢。

Zhejiang University and University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign jointly run school, construct teaching quality guarantee system keeping pace with international school, benchmark construction of teachers and management team of world standards, and help achieving mutually beneficial results.

　　邹晓东在会见时表示，与伊利诺伊大学厄巴纳香槟校区的合作是浙江大学国际合作与交流的重点与亮点。

During the meeting, Zou Xiaodong said, the cooperation with University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is the key point and bright spot of Zhejiang University ‘s international exchange and cooperation.

　　罗纳十分重视伊利诺伊人民和浙江人民、中国人民的友谊与合作。此外，中国留学生已经成为了伊利诺伊州留学生中的第一大群体。希望两校密切合作，深入交流，产生创新成果，惠及两国人民。

Rauner attaches much importance to the friendship and cooperation between people of Illinois and people of Zhejiang and China. Moreover, Chinese overseas students have become the largest group of overseas students of Illinois. He hopes that two schools can hand in glove, make indepth exchange, produce innovative results and benefit the two peoples.
