On September 16 Beijing time, in 2017 Chess World Cup, Ding Liren, a famous 25-year-old Wenzhou player defeated Rapport, the star of hope of Hungary on the offensive, eliminated rival with 1 won and 1 tied, a 1.5-0.5 aggregate score and smoothly stayed in the top four.

　　拉波尔特此前先后淘汰了中国棋手韦奕和李超，堪称本届比赛中国棋手的克星，但今天丁立人执白先行，抓住战机，击败了这位匈牙利新秀，为两位队友成功复仇。

Rapport eliminated Chinese Chess players Wei Yi and Li Chao before. He can be called as nemesis of Chinese chess players in the competition. But today Ding Liren had white to play first, recognized opportunity for combat, defeated the Hungarian up-and-coming youngster and avenged for teammates successfully.

　　等级分2771分的丁立人世界排名第13位，他是目前中国男子头号选手，也是中国男队夺得2014奥林匹克团体赛冠军和2015年、2017年世界杯团体赛冠军的主力队员。

Ding Liren who is rated 2771 ranked 13th in the world. He is China’s no.1 male player now. And he was the leading player when Chinese men’s team won the championships of 2014 Olympic team competition and 2015, 2017 World Cup team competition.
