中国网浪潮资讯 伦敦时间2017年9月4日，百年名校英国诺丁汉大学将一幢综合楼命名为“徐亚芬楼”，这是英国诺丁汉大学建校130余年来首栋以华人女性命名的建筑，她是一名宁波人。

On Sept. 4, 2017, London Time, the University of Nottingham, one of the century-old prestigious school in Britain, nominated a complex building with the name "Xu Yafen". It is the first time in its over-130-year history that this university using the name of a Chinese woman, who is from Ningbo, to nominate the building.

　　徐亚芬是宁波诺丁汉大学的理事长，宁波诺丁汉大学的创办和发展与徐亚芬的努力和远见卓识密不可分。

 Xu Yafen is president of a council of University of Nottingham Ningbo China. The university's establishment and development depends largely on Xu's effort and foresight,

　　宁波诺丁汉大学成立十多年来，在为中国培养国际化人才、服务地方社会经济发展的同时，也为中英两国人民友谊的建立、两国政府的友好合作起到积极作用。

For more than a decade since the University of Nottingham Ningbo was established, it has not only cultivated international talents for China as well as serving for the local social and economic development, but also played an active role in building the friendship between Chinese and British along with promoting friendly cooperation between the two governments.
