潘天寿，1897年生于浙江宁海县冠庄村。现代画家、教育家。曾任副主席、浙江美术学院院长等职。为第一、二、三届全国人大代表，中国文联委员；1958年被聘为苏联艺术科学院名誉院士。著有《中国绘画史》《听天阁画谈随笔》等。

Pan Tianshou was born in Guanzhuang Village, Ninghai County, Zhejiang in 1897. He is modern painter and educator. He was vice chairman of China Artists Association, and dean of China Academy of Art etc. He is deputy to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd National People’s Congress and member of National Literature Federation. He was invited as honorary academician of Russian Academy of Arts. He is author of History of Chinese Painting, Talk Painting in Tingtian Tower Essay and others.

　　潘天寿纪念馆坐落于风景秀丽的西子湖畔，杭州南山路景云村一号，这里原是潘天寿先生晚年居所，1981年经文化部批准设立纪念馆并对外开放，1991年在原有故居基础上扩建现代化新馆。

Tianshou Memorial is located in the scenic West Lake, No.1 Jingyun Village, Nanshan Road, Hangzhou. It was Pan Tianshou’s former residence in his late years. Memorial was approved the establishment by Ministry of Culture and opened to the outside world in 1981. In 1991, it was expanded modern new memorial on the original basis of former residence.

　　潘天寿美术馆位于浙江宁海潘天寿艺术中心。该馆揭牌后，将与潘天寿艺术中心有机结合，进一步加强与长三角等地区美术馆的合作与交流，继续发挥美术馆展览、展示、典藏等功能。

Tianshou Memorial is located in PanTianshou Art Center, Ninghai, Zhejiang. After the opening of memorial, it will build a coalition with Pan Tianshou Art Center, further strengthen cooperation and exchange with art museums in Yangtze River Delta etc, and keep playing function of exhibition, showing, collection and others.
