From Hangzhou to Pakistan, spanning five thousand kilometers, the delegation of Chinese Medical Association brought the recent achieves in the field to the just concluded 38th Pakistan Ophthalmic Conference and China-Pakistan Ophthalmic Forum.

　　第38届巴基斯坦眼科学术大会暨中巴眼科论坛，也是巴基斯坦最高规格的医学会议之一，巴基斯坦眼科诊疗体系较健全，能掌握眼科手术的主流方法。

The 38th Pakistan Ophthalmic Conference and China-Pakistan Ophthalmic Forum is also one of the top- grade medical conferences in Pakistan. The ophthalmic clinic system of Pakistan is robust and they can master the mainstream methods of ophthalmic operations.

　　据了解，巴基斯坦白内障患者发病早、发病多、疑难症不少。就白内障而言，巴基斯坦因地处南亚次大陆西北部，海拔相对较高，紫外线照射强烈，患者发病往往较早，数量也相对较多，其中不少时间拖久了，发展成硬核白内障。

It is learned that cataract patients in Pakistan always got sick early, the number of the sick and difficult miscellaneous diseases were so many. In terms of cataract, Pakistan is located in the northwest of the the South Asian Sub-Continent with a relatively high altitude and the Ultraviolet Ray is strong. So the patients always got sick early and the quantity was relatively high. And many of the sick developed into the hardcore cataract because of the long-time delay.

　　当地眼科医生多采用囊外摘除或者超声乳化手术，为患者植入人工晶体。眼科学分会主委、浙二眼科中心主任姚克教授在中国最早开展的飞秒激光白内障手术，采用智能化的“机器人”代替手工实现精准操作，飞秒激光根据医生手术规划，在计算机引导下，完成“撕囊”动作，同时将白内障硬核预劈成六块，再吸走，随后植入人工晶体。

The femtosecond laser completed "capsulorhexis" action according to the surgery planning of doctors and the guidance of the computer, at the same time the hard core of the cataract was cut into six pieces and then sucked away, then the artificial lenses were implanted.

　　姚克教授带领的浙二眼科中心2016年门诊量突破60万人次、各类手术达5.5万例，其中飞秒激光白内障手术超过一千例，居全球第一。其中，报告相关内容刊发在业界顶尖杂志《美国白内障与屈光手术》上，被《柳叶刀》杂志引用，助推全球眼科界进入飞秒时代。

In 2016, the outpatient number of ophthalmic center in the Second Affiliated hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine which was led by professor Yao Ke was more than 600,000 visits and there were 55,000 various surgeries. Among the surgeries, there were more than 1,000 cases of femtosecond laser cataract surgeries which ranked first in the world. The related content of report published in top magazine of the industry “ASCRS” was cited by magazine The Lancet as a way to promote the world's ophthalmology into the Femtosecond Era.

The participation of the delegation of Chinese Medical Association in Pakistan Ophthalmic Conference and China-Pakistan Ophthalmic Forum is the way to implement “The Belt and Road” initiative, expand the medical exchanges with Pakistan and further promote medical communication between the two countries and the friendship between people in the countries through ophthalmic academic exchanges , thus further enhance China's soft power.
