中国网浪潮资讯 一批来自意大利米兰的华裔孩子得到了一个在八月以文化体验旅行的形式浙江温州探索他们文化遗产的机会。

CNCAO NEWS A group of ethnically Chinese children from Milan, Italy got the chance to discover their heritage by taking part in a special cultural experience tour in Wenzhou, Zhejiang province on Aug.

　　多亏了中国国务院海外侨胞事务办公室的组织，这16个年轻人得到了这次特殊的机会来以暑期夏令营的形式来到中国展开了他们的寻根之旅。

The 16 youngsters got this unique chance to trace their roots in China thanks to a special summer school organized by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of China's State Council.

　　这个项目是为了让那些出生和成长在海外的同胞们重新维系起与古老华夏文明之间的渊源而设计的。

The program is designed to help young Chinese who were born and grew up abroad to connect with their ancestral homeland.

　　这些米兰年轻人都是温州移民的后裔。温州是一个位于中国华东地区，以企业家和工艺师闻名的城市，所以这次寻根之旅的重点将是向这些华裔年轻人介绍祖先代代传承下来的民间艺术。

The young Milanese were all descendants of migrants from Wenzhou. The city in East China is famous for its entrepreneurs and craftspeople, so the tour focused on introducing the visitors to the folk arts that many of their ancestors would have practiced.

　　他们拜访了几位精于皮革制作或是国画的大师，并参观了当地的一些手工作坊，在那里他们也尝试着去弹棉花、刺绣、制作皮革钱包以及编中国结。

The young people visited a few masters in folk arts and crafts like leather art and Chinese painting, as well as a series of local workshops where they got to try fluffing cotton, embroidering, making leather wallets and tying Chinese knots.

　　毛耀欢是当地的一个艺术家，在盐源艺术博物馆工作，日常的工作是向游客展示温州山水画以及介绍当地的故事传说。这些山水画能够给游客直观地展示温州这座城市的自然风貌以及文化，也能帮助这些华裔年轻人更好地加深对这片土地的印象。

Mao Yaohuan, a local artist, introduced the visitors to Wenzhou landscape paintings and explained the local stories behind each work at Yanyuan Art Museum. The paintings offered them a glimpse of the city's natural scenery and culture, helping them form a comprehensive impression of the land in East China.

　　在一个皮革作坊里，这些孩子了解到了温州手工艺品的历史以及当地的宗教文化。

At a studio for leather products, the children were told about the history of Wenzhou's handicrafts, as well as its folk religion.

　　据这次寻根之旅的其中一个组织者陈雪珍所说，这16名华裔少年都是第三代或是第四从温州移民出去的华裔后代了。

According to Chen Xuezhen, one of the organizers of the tour, the 16 children were all third or fourth generation descendants of migrants from Wenzhou.

　　陈雪珍说，这些孩子完全听不懂温州方言，也不知道他们的祖先在这片土地上的任何故事。而这个项目恰恰在唤醒了他们对祖辈好奇心的同时，也提供了一个让他们进一步了解温州文化的机会。

"They don't understand Wenzhou dialect and barely know anything about the experiences of their forefathers in China. This event has awakened their curiosity about their ancestors and provided a special platform to help them learn about Wenzhou culture," said Chen.

　　旅行团中的一个成员被这次寻根之旅深深感动 了，他谈到：“在这片我们祖先曾经生活过的土地上，我感受到了他们与忧患不断斗争的伟大精神，通过这次寻根之旅，我也对我的故乡以及故乡的生活、手工艺品和文化遗产有了全新的认识。”

A member of the delegation said he was deeply touched by the tour. "In the land where our ancestors live, I savored the spirit of their struggles against hardship. Through this tour, I have a new understanding of my hometown, life, handicrafts and heritage," he said.
