被誉为“天下第一名社”的西泠印社址坐落于浙江省杭州市西湖景区孤山南麓。是中国最重要的金石篆刻协会之一，国家级非物质文化遗产。

The Xiling Seal Arts Society, dubbed as the “best society in the world”,is on the western side of Gushan Mountain in the city of Hangzhou, Zhejiang province. It is one of China's most important traditional stone seal engraving associations, a key National Relics Preservation Unit and its engraving a national intangible cultural heritage.

　　西泠印社，创建于1904年，由浙派篆刻家丁辅之、王福庵、吴隐、叶为铭等召集同人发起创建，吴昌硕为第一任社长。近年来，包括日本，韩国和新加坡等许多来自海外的许多印学家每年都在这里一起探讨研究。

The society was founded in 1904 by Ding Ren, Wang Shi, Ye Ming and Wu Yin, with its first president being Wu Changshuo, a famous seal master. These days, many artists from overseas, including Japan, South Korea and Singapore, come every year to get together with society members to discuss the art form.（来源：浙江省人民政府网）
