CNCAO NEWS The city of Jiangshan, Zhejiang province, will hold the 2017 MaXi-Race China on Sept 23。

　　随着中国体育事业的发展，公众对国际高端体育项目的呼声也不断高涨。在江山政府与法国极限赛事协会的共同努力下，世界闻名的长跑越野项目MaXi-Race今年再次来到了这座城市。

With the upgrading of China’s sports industry, people are calling for access to international high-end sports events. Under the joint efforts of the Jiangshan government and the French organizers, MaXi-Race, a world-famous long-distance trail running event, has come to the quiet city for the second time since last year.

　　届时，来自世界各地的两千多名选手将在秋天齐聚香山。

More than 2,000 runners are expected to take part as Jiangshan city comes under the international spotlight in autumn.

　　赛道穿越江郎山与廿八都景区，选手既可以领略江山古城的悠久历史，还可以欣赏丹霞地貌那样壮观的自然风光。

Passing through the Mount Jianglang and Nianbadu ancient town, the running route will reveal the rich history of ancient towns in Jiangshan, as well as spectacular natural views such as the Danxia landform.

　　组委会在去年的基础上增设了8KM和35KM组别，并沿用官方计时系统Live Trail。

The committee will add two more competition items this year, over 8 kilometers and 35 km, and adopt the official timing system "Live Trail".

　　通过举办国际赛事，江山政府希望推进城市旅游业和体育业的转型升级。MaXi-Race江山国际越野跑还将作为浙江衢州5A级景区江郎山国际旅游节的开幕式。

By holding the international event, the Jiangshan government hopes to promote the transformation and upgrading of the city's tourism and sports industries. The MaXi-Race will mark the opening of an international tourism festival in Mount Jianglang, a newly selected national 5A-level tourist attraction.
