中国网浪潮资讯 近日,包括一名浙大学者在内几名中美学者联合发表了一篇关于打破限制谐振器设计“时间带宽极限”的论文,被外国媒体称为“解决了一个百年物理难题”。
CNCAO NEWS Recently, a few Chinese and American scholars, including one from ZJU ( Zhejiang University ), jointly published a dissertation about overcoming "the time-bandwidth limit" which is a design of harmonic oscillator. This work was known as "solving a century physics problem" according to foreign medium.
谐振器件与系统在现代社会的各行各业得到广泛应用。离开谐振,计算机不再计算、手机不能刷屏、电视无法显示图像、收音机无法收音、手表无法定时……自1914年发现谐振以来,谐振系统的设计被认为受制于一个基本极限。
Resonator parts and systems have been comprehensively applied in diverse industries in modern society that without resonator, the calculators cannot calculate, mobile phones cannot spam, televisions cannot display images, receivers cannot receive sounds, watches cannot get time fixed... Since resonator discovered in 1914, the design of its system was thought to be limited by a basic limitation.
论文共同作者之一、浙江大学光电学院现代光学仪器国家重点实验室研究员郑晓东认为,谐振系统时间带宽极限的突破,将会在众多领域产生深远影响,包括通信、光探测、能量采集和信息存储等。
Zheng Xiaodong, one of the paper's co-authors and researcher of State Key Laboratory of Modern Optical Instrumentation Zhejiang University, stated that the breakthrough of overcoming "the time-bandwidth limit" has profound impact in dozens of fields, including communication, optical detection, energy harvesting, information storing and so on.
据悉,论文共同第一作者、南昌大学沈林放教授此前亦曾在浙大现代光学仪器国家重点实验室工作。
It is known that Shen Linfang, co-first author of the co-writers of the paper and professor of Nanchang University, once also worked in State Key Laboratory of Modern Optical Instrumentation Zhejiang University.
