中国网浪潮资讯 北京时间6月5日，宁波海事法院依法受理宁波市人民检察院指控被告人艾伦·门多萨·塔布雷（ALLAN　MENDOZA　TABLATE）犯交通肇事罪一案。该案是宁波海事法院作为管辖海事刑事案件的试点法院受理的首例海事刑事案件，也是中国海事法院首次受理海事刑事案件。

It's the first time for Ningbo maritime court to accept maritime criminal cases as court pilot to administer maritime criminal cases, is also the first time for Chinese maritime court to accept maritime criminal cases.

　　北京时间5月7日，马耳他籍散货船“卡塔利娜”（CATALINA）轮从中国连云港驶往印度尼西亚途中，在浙江象山沿海南韭山岛东偏北约72海里附近海域，与中国山东石岛籍渔船“鲁荣渔58398”轮雾中发生碰撞，造成“鲁荣渔58398”轮沉没。该轮上19人中，14人死亡5人失踪。经海事部门认定，“卡塔利娜”轮在此次事故中负主要责任。事故发生后，“卡塔利娜”轮当班驾驶员二副艾伦·门多萨·塔布雷经批准被执行逮捕。

After the accident, the pilot of the "Catalina", the second deputy， Allen Mendoza Tablate, was arrested by approval.

　　据了解，随着“一带一路”建设、海洋强国及长江经济带发展等重大国家战略的实施，中国海洋经济迅猛发展，海上活动更加频繁，新类型纠纷不断出现，对海事审判也提出了更新、更高的司法需求。

　　It is understood that with the construction of “One Belt and Road”, the implementation of the Yangtze River economic belt development, Marine power, and other major national strategy, China maritime economy has been developing rapidly, maritime activities are more frequent, new types of disputes have emerged, and newer and higher judicial requirements have been proposed for maritime trials.

　　据悉，继2016年最高人民法院将相关海事行政案件纳入海事法院管辖范围之后，2017年2月就指定宁波海事法院试点管辖海事刑事案件。

　　It is reported that, after 2016 the supreme people's court brought the relevant maritime administrative cases into the limits of maritime court jurisdiction, Ningbo maritime court viewed as a court pilot to administer maritime criminal cases in February, 2017.
