近日，国务院作出决定表彰全国13个公安机关先进模范集体，杭州市公安局交通警察支队机动大队被光荣地授予“模范交警队”荣誉称号，这也是浙江省唯一获此殊荣的公安集体。

　　据介绍，杭州交警建队45年间，310余名中外元首和政府首脑来杭，机动大队悉数予以圆满保障，无一出现纰漏，先后完成了2万余批次警卫开道、4600余场次重要会议和重大活动的交通安保工作，交出亮丽工作单的同时也赢得了充分肯定。仅近5年，年均完成3级(含)以上交通警卫任务及重大会议交通保卫任务就达2000余批(次)以上。
