中国网浪潮资讯 近日，联合国教科文组织专家代表——世界地质公园理事会成员、巴西教授帕特里西奥·梅洛等人来到温州市雁荡山世界地质公园，开展四年一次的中期评估工作。 帕特里西奥·梅洛教授表示，他震撼于雁荡山世界地质公园独一无二的地质遗迹以及楠溪江传承千年的耕读文化。

CNCAO NEWS Recently, the expert representative of United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) -- Council member of World Geopark and Professor of Brazil Patricio Melo and others came to the Yandang Mountain World Geopark in Wenzhou to conduct a quadrennial mid-term evaluation work. Professor Patricio Melo said that he was shocked at the unique geological relics of the Yandang Mountain World Geopark and the farming culture of Nanxi River which has inherited thousands of years.

　　温州市雁荡山世界地质公园于2005年经联合国教科文组织批准进入世界地质公园网络，也是迄今第一个以中生代火山地质地貌景观为主题的地质公园，被联合国教科文组织誉为“岩石、水流、生命的交响曲，世界一大奇观”。

The Yandang Mountain World Geopark in Wenzhou was approved by UNESCO to enter the World Geopark network in 2005 and it has also been the first geological park with the theme of Mesozoic volcanic geological and geomorphic landscape so far . It is praised as "a symphony of rock, water and life, a great wonder of the world" by UNESCO.
