CNCAO NEWS Invited by municipal government of Nice,France,Sino-French Cultural and Art Communication Center and United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization(UNESCO),crew of the play,Meet the Grand Canal,from Hangzhou Opera and Dance Drama Theatre will start this journey to Europe to officially initiate the world tour to well narrate Chinese stories in cultural heritage,the global language,as well as transmitting Chinese culture and building a bridge from the west to the east by canal culture.

 

 

　　作为国家艺术基金扶持项目——舞蹈剧场《遇见大运河》是国内首部文化遗产传播剧。“我们一直把舞蹈剧场《遇见大运河》的巡演作为一次文化传播活动来做。”杭州歌剧舞剧院院长、舞蹈剧场《遇见大运河》导演崔巍说，之所以把这次国际巡演命名为“全球运河遇见之旅”，是因为剧组所选定的巡演国家都是有着与中国大运河齐名的著名运河的国家，如法国有米迪运河、德国有基尔运河。

 

　　The dance drama,Meet the Grand Canal,supported by China National Arts Fund is the first domestic cultural inheritance drama."We have always regarded the dance drama,Meet the Grand Canal,as an culture-transmitting activity to pay for efforts."said Cui Wei,dean of Hangzhou Opera and Dance Drama Theatre and director of this play,that the reason why this world tour was named as"a trip to the global canals"was because those touring countries selected by the theatrical unit were nations with canals as famous as China's,such as Canal du Midi in France and Kiel canal in Germany.

 

 

　　崔巍表示，通过巡演，中国大运河与世界其他著名运河隔空对话，以运河文化为依托，搭建起东西方交流沟通的桥梁。

 

　　Cui stated that the Grand Canal of China could have conversations through space with other world-famous canals via this tour to build a bridge connecting the west and the east for better communication based on canal culture.

 

 

　　同时，此次选取的巡演国家都是“一带一路”的沿线国家或重要共建国。《遇见大运河》将用舞蹈这一人类共同的语言搭建起一条文化“新丝路”，为国家“一带一路”建设打造民心相通的社会根基做出贡献。崔巍表示，此次欧洲巡演将走进主流场馆，影响主流人群。

 

　　Meanwhile,the selected touring countries are all countries along"the Belt and Road"or its key co-builders.Meet the Grand Canal will make use of dance,the common language in human society,to establish a cultural"new Silk Road"to contribute for China to construct social foundation with the interlinking of people.Cui also reckoned that this tour to Europe would enter mainstream stadiums to influence the main groups.
